Empower disadvantaged individuals and families ("stewards") through inclusion in a safe and strong entrepreneurial community built on shared ownership and mutual support.
Today’s systems and institutions sometimes trap amazing people. We break down those limitations using entrepreneurship, community development, and continuous improvement as our primary tools.
Strategy
00 Ventures is a micro private equity firm with a unique social mission. In other words, we acquire and operate small businesses, except we own and hold for the long-term and do not involve outside equity investors. 00 Ventures operates purely for the benefit of the operators of our portfolio companies. 00 Ventures reinvests all portfolio profits into its people, growing portfolio businesses, and acquiring other existing small businesses.
Management
Current management has broad expertise in running a variety of small businesses and tech startups as well as deep expertise in data engineering, software architecture, and more. Since 2014, management has invested thousands of dollars and hours in helping golden people who are hidden in our world get out of their ruts and into thriving lifestyles.
Operational Tactics
Building Stewards
Recruit stewards from disadvantaged backgrounds. Provide personalized training through expert mentors. Break blockers for stewards that they can’t get around themselves.
Growth Circles
Give stewards a circle of friends, mentors, and coaches who are experts in any field of life or business. Acting as accountability partners, these circles stand together operating successful businesses within the 00 Venture network.
Cooperative Entrepreneurial Operations
Foster collaboration among portfolio businesses for mutual benefit, and to optimize individual and communal growth. Limit stewards to 100 to maintain a close-knit community.
Continuous Improvement
Experiment, learn, and adapt both individually and collectively using both objective and subjective, data-driven methods. Monitor and review objectives and achievements on a regular cadence.
